Current Position:

In August 2017, I began teaching third grade at Hugo Elementary. After teaching third grade for two years, I am now a reading interventionist assisting students with the reading process. The 2022-23 school year is my sixth year at HES.

Previous Position:

Before becoming a Hugo Buffalo, I spent thirty-seven years teaching at North Lamar ISD in Paris, Texas. While at North Lamar, I taught kindergarten, third grade, Texas history, physical education, and sixth grade language arts. I was a dyslexia therapist, a high school assistant principal, along with coaching numerous sports for twenty-five years.

Family Information:

I am married to Larry Wooldridge, and we have two grown children, Brittnee and Stephen. Larry owns Wooldridge Appliance in Paris, Texas. In our free time we enjoy playing golf and spending time with family and friends.
