Library Legends Reading Program

Daily Rewards

• All students that pass a Reading Counts quiz will receive a prize from the Prize Box.  In order to receive the prize, students must show the librarian they have passed a quiz, or bring a note from the classroom teacher stating they have passed a quiz.  Only one prize will be rewarded daily to each individual student.

Weekly Rewards

• Drawing for Prizes - 10 Names will be drawn from all students that pass a quiz during the course of the week.  

Monthly Rewards

• Pizza Hut Certificate - Must pass at least 4 tests per month

• Popcorn Party - Must pass at least 6 tests per month

• Monthly Prize drawings - One student’s name from each grade will be drawn to receive a monthly prize. Students must pass at least 4 tests for their name to be entered into the drawing.

Additional Rewards

• Braum’s Book Buddy Certificate - Students will receive a certificate for every 5 quizzes they pass

• For every 50 quizzes a student passes, they will get to be librarian for the day

• For every 75 quizzes a student passes, they will receive a free lunch with the Principal

• For every 100 quizzes a student passes, they will receive a free lunch with the Superintendent

End of Year Rewards

• Reading Reward Trip - to attend, students must earn the following points on Reading Counts:

        Kindergarten - 10

        First Grade - 35

        Second Grade - 70

        Third Grade - 90

• Prize Drawings - Name goes in a drawing for every 15 points earned on Reading Counts

• Highest Reader from each grade will be awarded a prize
