Library Legends Reading Program

Daily Rewards

• All students that pass an AR quiz will receive a prize from the Prize Box.  In order to receive the prize, students must show the librarian they have passed a quiz, or bring a note from the classroom teacher stating they have passed a quiz.  Only one prize will be rewarded daily to each individual student.

Weekly Rewards

• Drawing for Prizes - 10 names will be drawn from all students that pass a quiz during the course of the week. 

Monthly Rewards

• Pizza Hut Certificate - Must pass at least 4 tests per month

• Braum’s Book Buddy Certificate - Students will receive a certificate for every 5 quizzes they pass.

• Top 12 readers will receive a Taco Bell certificate.

• Monthly Prize drawings - One student’s name from each grade will be drawn to receive a monthly prize. Students must pass at least 4 tests for their name to be entered into the drawing.

Additional Rewards

• When a student passes 50 quizzes they will get to be librarian for the day.

• When a student passes 75 quizzes they will receive a free lunch with the Principal, Teacher (of their own grade), Librarian, Secretary, etc. (their choice).

• When a student passes 100 quizzes they will receive a free lunch with the Superintendent.

End of Year Rewards

• Reading Reward Trip - Top 12 readers from each grade (1st-3rd).

  • The top reader from Kinder will receive a prize package.

• 4 Prize Drawings - Name goes in a drawing for every 15 points earned on AR.

• The Highest Reader from each grade will be awarded a prize.
