How can your senses help you learn?”

Read bb “Senses at the Seashore” Discuss punctuation, print concepts, and genre. Complete story map. **Why do we read? Why did the author write this story?

Retell Big Book Story. Review Story Map for the week.

Sequence events using story cards.

 

Hook for RWC. Cut an apple and have students identify how our senses work when it comes to the apple. Come up with a word bank of words we may see. Read “I Can See” in the reading writing companions.
